Children love Mary's Softdough! We use it whenever we don't have time for homemade playdough. For years, playing with dough or clay was almost a daily activity in our home.We love Mary's Softdough because it has a smooth, soft texture that is pleasing to touch, and does not crumble as much as other play doughs. The simplicity of this natural-colored (undyed) dough encourages lots of creative play. When stored in its tub, it will last up to a year--much longer than home made play dough.18 oz. in a plastic (polypropylene/#5) tub.Ingredients: white flour, water, salt, soybean oil, cream of tartar, sodium benzoate (food preservative).
Note that the Ingredients list on the plastic tubs lists "food coloring" but our natural dough does not have this.Why don't we carry the colored Mary's Softdough?We are frequently asked this question! We do not carry the colored versions because the manufacturer uses standard food coloring to make the colors. Since the dyes have a long history of being tested on animals, and contain Ingredients that may be allergenic or otherwise cause health concerns, we have decided to avoid them for the health and safety of everyone.
